Prayer Focus: Pray for the government of Cambodia
- for every level of government ...
- for their hearts to be changed
- that corruption would cease
- that the enabling of the sex trade would end
Encourage others by adding your prayers, thoughts, comments below ...
Pray that God would convict them of their guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)
"They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain." (Isaiah 56:11)
"Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more." (Ephesians 4:19)
These two verses describe who their captors are now. But, I place them here so you can turn them into a positive prayer. For example, pray a positive prayer from Isaiah 56:11 and say,
"Father, satisfy their desires with Your love. Cause the heart(s) of _______ (insert the government leader's name) to be changed so dramatically that they turn to you with all of their heart, with all of their soul, with all of their mind and with all of their strength. I pray that they would seek to glorify You over anything and everything else in their lives."
Pray that they and their whole family would be saved and radically set free to enjoy every indescribable gift of the Father.
"The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God-- he and his whole family." (Acts 16:34)
